My name is Saad, and I am a CNRS researcher working at the intersection of theoretical quantum chemistry and physics.
My research spans multiple directions within quantum sciences and technologies.
A key focus is on strongly correlated quantum many-body systems, which I explore through the lens of quantum information theory and quantum computing, with applications ranging from quantum chemistry to condensed matter physics. I also develop theoretical and computational tools to address various flavours of many-body problems. In addition, I work on the theory of open quantum systems, with particular emphasis on the quantum transport of energy and information.
I obtained my Ph.D. in Physics in 2018 in Besançon, France (UTINAM institute). Then, I carried out a two-year postdoctoral fellowships in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (Visscher's group, Vrije Universiteit) followed by I a second postdoctoral stage of two years in Strasbourg, France (Laboratoire de Chimie Quantique). In October 2023, I was appointed as a CNRS Researcher. I am currently working in the Q-Dyno team in Strasbourg, France (Institut de Physique et Chimie des Matériaux de Strasbourg).
